Lyn Lapid is a Filipino-American singer-songwriter whose candid, diary-like pop songs have built a devoted young following. She broke through with "Producer Man," a 2020 song about a bad experience with a music producer that she first shared a cappella on TikTok, one verse at a time. Signed to Republic and Mercury Records, she followed with the EPs The Outsider and to love in the 21st century, then released her debut album, Buzzkill, in April 2025, led by "Buttons" and "Coraline."
She built her career straight from her bedroom. A second-generation Filipino-American who grew up in Maryland and attended high school in Columbia, Lapid started posting songs online as a teenager and turned that direct connection with listeners into a record deal.
Lapid has headlined tours behind both to love in the 21st century and Buzzkill, playing stages from Honolulu's Waikiki Shell to San Diego's Frontwave Arena, and in 2026 she began previewing her second album with the single "One Good Thing." She is a strong fit for college programming boards, festival and fair lineups, corporate events and private shows.
