Still Woozy is the recording name of Sven Eric Gamsky, an Oakland artist whose songs sit where bedroom pop, indie pop and psychedelic pop overlap. The project moved from home recordings to a full-length statement with If This Isn't Nice, I Don't Know What Is in 2021, and Loveseat in 2024 shows the same writer still working that soft, slightly warped pop territory rather than trading it for something louder.
The habit started early. Gamsky was recording his own music at 13 in Moraga, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area, and the self-contained approach that came out of those years is still audible in the finished records.
Gamsky remains the whole of Still Woozy, writing and recording under the name with label support from UMG. Live, the project has played rooms including The Independent, House of Blues and The Momentary, a range that covers club stages and outdoor arts venues alike. That makes Still Woozy a strong fit for college programming, festival and fair lineups, corporate events and private engagements looking for indie pop with a real catalog behind it.
