Wynonna is a five-time Grammy-winning country music singer, Country Music Hall of Fame member, and one of the most decorated voices in the history of American music, with 19 No. 1 singles and more than 20 million records sold across her career with The Judds and as a solo artist. As one half of The Judds alongside her mother Naomi, she dominated country radio through the 1980s with back-to-back chart-toppers including "Mama He's Crazy," "Why Not Me," "Grandpa (Tell Me 'Bout the Good Old Days)," and "Love Can Build a Bridge." Her 1992 solo debut launched three consecutive No. 1 singles in "She Is His Only Need," "I Saw the Light," and "No One Else on Earth," establishing her as a solo force in her own right and earning Rolling Stone's designation as the greatest female country singer since Patsy Cline.
She came up country and hard. Born in Ashland, Kentucky, she moved to Nashville with her mother in the early 1980s, signed to RCA/Curb as a teenager, and built one of the most celebrated careers in the format before the age of 30. When The Judds disbanded in 1991 following Naomi's hepatitis C diagnosis, Wynonna went out alone and kept winning. She accepted The Judds' Country Music Hall of Fame induction on May 1, 2022, one day after her mother's death, telling the audience, "It's a very strange dynamic to be this broken and this blessed."
In 2026 Wynonna returned with her first solo studio album in a decade, The Hard Truth, released October 2 on ANTI- Records and produced by her husband Cactus Moser, featuring collaborations with Patterson Hood, Iron & Wine, and The War and Treaty. She spent the summer co-headlining the 27-date Raised On Radio Tour with Melissa Etheridge across amphitheaters, casinos, and major festival stages including a debut performance of lead single "Kentucky Queen" at Stagecoach 2026. With a catalog spanning country, gospel, blues, and rock and a live show built for everything from casino showrooms and state fairs to performing-arts centers and outdoor amphitheaters, Wynonna is one of the most sought-after headliners in country music for corporate events, fairs, festivals, and private engagements.
