Storytelling is the cornerstone of New Jersey native Ross Newhouse's writing, as illustrated by anecdotal verses and tongue-in-cheek opening hooks. His music is transportative, his lyrics championed by production that sonically paints the worlds he narrates, evoking the sense of belonging that comes solely from fearless specificity. With comparisons made to classics such as Bob Dylan and Carol King, to contemporaries like Andy Shauf and Adam Melchor, Ross was named one of NJ.com's "Artists You Need to Hear in 2022." He also writes with and for artists such as Axel Mansoor, Hayley Reardon, Moziah, and Lucy Clearwater. Ross put out his first EP ("Suddenly I Demand Repair") in May of 2021 and looks forward to releasing his first album in 2022.
