Coco & Clair Clair are an Atlanta duo whose songs sit between pop rap, cloud rap, and bedroom pop. Their catalog runs from Posh in 2017 through Sexy in 2022 to Girl in 2024, one long streak of releases now numbering more than two dozen and carried by Many Hats Distribution. Girl is the record that set their most recent touring cycle in motion.
They met on Twitter in 2012. Both grew up in Georgia, and the pair started recording together soon after, cutting cloud-rap-style songs alongside Atlanta's Awful Records crew. That start explains a lot about how the project still works: two friends, their own reference points, no outside committee.
Taylor Rose Nave is Coco and Claire Marie Toothill is Clair Clair, and the two have kept the duo a closed circuit from those first recordings forward. On the road behind Girl, the GIRL TOUR has taken them to rooms including The Fillmore Auditorium and the Union Event Center, with Berlin and Cologne dates announced for March 2025. It makes them a strong live booking for college programming, festival and fair lineups, corporate dates, casinos, and private events.
