Javier Colon is an American singer and songwriter. He was born on April 29, 1978, in Stratford, Connecticut.
Colon gained national recognition as the winner of the first season of the reality singing competition show "The Voice" in 2011. He was coached by Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine on the show, and his victory led to a recording contract with Universal Republic Records.
