Midland is a Texas country trio known for smooth harmonies, '70s-inspired style and a neotraditional sound that tips its hat to honky-tonk heroes. Their debut single, "Drinkin' Problem," reached No. 4 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, went 6x Platinum and earned two Grammy nominations, and their 2019 album, Let It Roll, hit No. 1 on the Country Albums chart. They followed with the Dave Cobb-produced Barely Blue in 2024 and the album Stages in 2026.
They came to country music from very different lanes. Singer Mark Wystrach had worked as an actor and model, bassist Cameron Duddy was a music video director who won an MTV VMA for Bruno Mars's "Locked Out of Heaven," and guitarist Jess Carson was a working songwriter. The three first jammed together around Duddy's wedding in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and formed Midland soon after.
Midland won the ACM Award for New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year in 2018 and has earned repeated ACM and CMA group nominations since. They play everything from Carolina Country Music Fest to fairground amphitheaters, making them a natural fit for fair and festival lineups, casinos, college events, corporate events and private shows.
