OK GO is a Grammy-winning alternative rock band famous for turning music videos into viral events. The one-take treadmill routine for "Here It Goes Again," from 2005's Oh No, won the 2007 Grammy for Best Music Video, and the band followed with the Rube Goldberg machine of "This Too Shall Pass," the J-pop cameo in "I Won't Let You Down" and the zero-gravity "Upside Down & Inside Out." Their fifth studio album, And the Adjacent Possible, arrived on their own Paracadute label in April 2025 as their first full-length since 2014's Hungry Ghosts, and its single "Love," a single take with 29 robots and more than 60 mirrors, earned a 2026 Grammy nomination for Best Music Video.
The friendship goes back to summer camp. Singer Damian Kulash and bassist Tim Nordwind met as 11-year-olds at Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan and formed OK GO in Chicago in 1998 with drummer Dan Konopka, later moving to Los Angeles. Guitarist and keyboardist Andy Ross joined in 2005, completing the lineup that still records and tours today.
OK GO's videos have drawn well over 100 million views, and the band has a Grammy win plus three more Best Music Video nominations. Their 2025 North American headline tour included sold-out dates and added second nights in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver, plus a set at Japan's Fuji Rock Festival, and through OK Go Sandbox the band creates educational tools with the University of St. Thomas. With a live show built on spectacle and singalong hits, OK GO is a natural fit for college concerts, music festivals, performing arts centers, corporate events and private shows.
