Madalen Duke is a Vancouver-based artist and songwriter. Her unique voice and empowering lyrics have resonated with fans from her hometown, all the way to Asia and South America. After opening for Post Malone and performing at SXSW twice, in 2020 Madalen released her debut EP Talking To Myself - with the lead single “Born Alone Die Alone” airing as the title song in Netflix’s record-breaking The Old Guard. Other songs in the EP premiered in shows on HBO, Showtime, The CW, and FOX, with Shazams skyrocketing across the entire EP. Talking To Myself has been streamed over 20+ million times across DSPs. As she steadily released singles and feature collaborations over 2021 and 2022, Madalen continued to generate millions of streams, leading to over 900k monthly listeners on Spotify. Her latest single “New Era” showcases her genre-bending versatility, combining pop/rap and cinematic textures while exploring themes of coming into your own power; and a dark, mysterious regality. Her upcoming independent EP, Ascension, is due out September 2023 across DSPs.
